Imaging :

• Digital radiography
• Specific dental radiography
• Echography
• Scanning via a collaboration with an external practice, the interpretation of the images is carried out by Dr Huynh, an American and European specialist in NAC. His expertise is also available for very complex cases.

Hospitalisation

Separate hospitalisation from other animals in order to reduce stress:

• Pain management
• Adapted feeding, force-feeding
• Incubator
• Rabbit park

Anaesthesia & Surgery

Anaesthesia :

• Gaseous anaesthesia: ISO and SEVOflurane (recommended for birds)
• Mask/endotracheal probe adapted to the size of the NAC
• Blood sampling, infusion, catheterisation
• Heating mats
• Infusion pump
• Anaesthetic monitoring equipment

Surgery :

• Soft tissues (sterilisation, abscesses, tumours, …)
• Hard tissues (fractures of limbs, carapace, …)
• Dental surgery (abscesses, extractions, scaling, beak filing, …)
• Surgical equipment adapted to NAC

I have always had a passion for exotic animals. During my studies, I had the chance to train in Australia and Canada, in exclusive NAC and wildlife centres. Since obtaining my degree in veterinary medicine, I have always sought to enrich my knowledge and pass it on, which is why I did an internship in small animals at the University of Liège. I continued my studies with internships at the university and in veterinary hospitals abroad offering a service specially dedicated to exotics. At present, I exclusively practice medicine and surgery of NCAs and exotics. In addition to my private practice, I teach students in animal care as well as future veterinarians, with the primary objective of offering the most adequate care possible for new pets.
